The Stem is a modern, sustainability-focused houseplant brand that delivers high-quality indoor plants and accessories across the UK. With a strong emphasis on eco-friendly packaging, carbon-neutral delivery, and expert plant care advice, The Stem makes it easy for customers to bring greenery into their homes. The brand blends aesthetics with sustainability, catering to plant enthusiasts of all levels while promoting a greener, more mindful way of living.

This project was to lead the rebrand of The Stem, one of the largest brands under the Gardening Express umbrella, taking a hands-on approach to both physical and digital branding. I established a clear creative direction to elevate the brand and managed social media content, maintaining the success of high-performing videos, some of which had reached over 5.5 million views. My role involved overseeing new content production, scheduling, strategy, and engagement to drive brand growth throughout the re-launch.

I also developed new brand guidelines, introducing a refreshed visual identity and ensuring consistency across all platforms, positioning The Stem as a luxury houseplant brand. I oversaw the design of marketing content for an audience of 150k+ across email, Instagram, and TikTok, while optimising the website with a focus on UI/UX design principles. Additionally, I worked within Shopify to update the online store, adding new products and refining the site for a seamless shopping experience. Through strategic design and e-commerce enhancements, I helped position The Stem for growth, ensuring its revitalised brand identity aligned with its original eco-conscious mission and target audience.
